Gilbert Pun TEP, CTP

heads the Group's fiduciary and corporate services departments. He provides business advisory, trust and fiduciary related services to clients.

 

Gilbert advises clients on the establishment of trust structures for asset protection, succession or estate planning of family owned businesses. He oversees the life of the trust from its design to its formation, administration and distribution of assets to beneficiaries.

Prior to joining the Group, Gilbert worked for a number of local and international law firms in general corporate and commercial practices. Gilbert has over 15 years of experience in advising clients on corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, fund raising as well as Hong Kong securities licensing and on-going compliance matters. He is also involved in pre-IPO exercises advising and assisting clients for preparation of listing in Hong Kong. Additionally, Gilbert handles the dissolution and liquidation of Hong Kong and offshore companies. Gilbert holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business and Finance from University of Alberta, a Bachelor of Laws degree from Manchester Metropolitan University, and a Master of Laws degree in International Business Law from The University of Manchester.

Gilbert is a full member of STEP (registered Trust and Estate Practitioner) and a certified trust practitioner (Hong Kong Trustees' Association).
