- Suspension of the Capital Investment Entrant Scheme (CIE Scheme) – The CIE Scheme has been suspended with effect from 15 January 2015 until further notice.
- Hong Kong Visa – Any person other than those who have the right of abode or right to land in Hong Kong, must obtain a valid visa for study, employment, training, investment or residence.
